Context
Online learning needs more than a video call: students and teachers need to find each other, organise lessons and share materials.
My responsibility
I worked as a full-stack developer, contributing to frontend architecture, authentication, responsive interfaces and real-time communication.
Technical decisions
The classroom integrated OpenTok for WebRTC communication between students and teachers. File and recording management supports lessons, while APIs connect the platform’s different capabilities.
The solution
An experience combining student–teacher connections, video classrooms and learning materials. The project also incorporates payment integration.
Chat keeps the conversation and vocabulary alongside the shared board. The calendar coordinates teacher availability and bookings, connecting lesson planning with the classroom experience.
The frontend uses AngularJS and the backend Symfony. Templates separate video, board, homework, references, files and next lesson. Calendar logic distinguishes availability, bookings and cancellations.
Outcome
An integrated learning journey: find a teacher, book a lesson, talk over video, share materials and manage payments. My work connected these pieces across the frontend and backend.
